What should we wear?

During your consult, we can talk about this, but generally it's best to choose 3-5 matching colors and then have everyone wear items within that palette. It can be distracting if everyone is wearing prints, so if your husband has a great plaid shirt, for example, then let him wear that and find a nice solid top or dress that compliments his. Also, steer away from shirts with words - unless it's part of your idea/theme.

What if it the weather is.... wet/ cold/ yucky?

If it is raining, then I will reschedule with you for the same day the following week. For cold weather, the session will be on; so, wear layers and remember that it will only take 20 minutes!

Can we bring our dog?

Yes! However, not all fur babies want to cooperate, so we can see how it goes, get a few shots and then put your pooch somewhere safe so we can finish up. Since we are working in a tight time frame we want to be sure to get in several different shots.

How many different shots can you take?

I guarantee at least 10. Typically, there is time for several family poses plus a few of the children by themselves. The size of your group and the cooperative level of its members will factor into how many different shots I can get! For individuals and couples, we are likely to get more done. If you want a lot of different poses, or have more than 6 people in your group, then it will be best to book two time slots or to simply chose a longer session all together. 

What's the difference between a 20-minute mini session and a a 30-minute full session?

Mini-sessions are at specific locations on specific dates within specific time frames. A full session can be scheduled at your convenience and at the locations of your choice. Additionally, with a mini-session you will receive 10 edited images and with a full session, all the images that turn out great will be added to your online gallery.
